Hot Pizza Dip
This gooey, cheesy, hot pizza dip goes out to all the cheese lovers out there! You can make it like we did in any cast iron pan, or a shallow baking dish works great too. Imagine you favorite pizza and the ingredients used, and that pretty much becomes your recipe. In this case we chose a sausage flavor, but any flavor works.
Some other options are:
Cheese
Cheeseburger
Canadian Bacon and Pineapple
Supreme
Pepperoni
BBQ Chicken
These are the Lodge skillets that we used, and just divided the ingredients between the two. This is because one of us doesn\’t like olives. 🙂
These are very versatile, and if taken care of properly will last forever. Lodge 6.5 in. skillet

Ingredients
I lb. cooked Italian sausage
1/2 package a sliced pepperoni
1 bell pepper (diced)
1/2 small onion (diced)
2.25 oz. can of olives
14oz. bottle of pizza sauce (we used 1/2 the bottle)
5oz. container of shredded parmesan cheese.
1 8 oz. block cream cheese
1/2 cup ricotta cheese
5.3 oz. container of plain greek yogurt
Optional: Fresh basil and parsley flakes added to the cheese mixture.
*We used crostini\’s to dip into the dip but it\’s also great with Frito\’s or tortilla chips! Find out how we made the crostini\’s here:
Instructions
Preheat oven at 400 degrees.
Spray your cast iron or baking dish with non stick spray.
In a small bowl mix together the cream cheese, ricotta cheese, greek yogurt, and half of the parmesan cheese. Mix until well combined. We also added fresh basil and parsley to ours but that is optional. Once combined, spread the cheese mixture on the bottom of your baking dish.
Then add your pizza sauce on top of the cheese mixture. This would also bee good if you added BBQ sauce to your pizza sauce)
Then add the rest of your veggies and meat.
Finally, top with sliced mozzarella and the rest of your parmesan cheese.
Bake for 20 mins or until hot.
Once hot, turn your broiler on (500 degrees) and cook until the cheese on top is bubbly.
