Orange Cranberry Cookies
We made these this year for Christmas, and they were perfect for a family tradition. In fact, I’m pretty sure that making cookies every year will become a forever tradition in our house. Plus, we like to make simple and easy recipes so that the kids can help. These cranberry orange cookies are just perfect for us.
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Bisquick
- 1 small Pkg Instant Pudding Mix (For these you can use whatever you wish, but vanilla works best)
- ¼ Cup Oil we used vegetable oil.
- ½ Cup peans, walnuts, or nuts of your choice optional.
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1 Egg
- ¼ cup nuts your choice.
- 1 Orange (zest and juice)
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries.
Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.
- Zest about half the orange, cut in half, and squeeze the juice in the bowl with the rest of the mixture. Careful of the seeds.
- Form into small balls and spread out onto a cookies sheet about 1 in apart.
- Place into a 375 °F oven for 12-15 minutes.
*The batter will be really really gooey, so the best was to portion them out is using a cookie scoop. We added a little extra flour to the cookies scoop to keep it from sticking. Don’t think you messed up; you’re on the right track. They have almost a cake like texture.

Notes
These are excellent to make for a Christmas cookie and are so easy that the kids can do it. Plus, you can also pack them up and give them out a gift. You can also try Bluebird Cookies, Fall Fork Cookies, or a Pineapple Cake. All of these would be great to take to you Thanksgiving or Christmas get-togethers. Also, be sure to get you a good set of cookie scoops, and a good zester. These are both great to have during this season. You can also check out My Fall Baking Essentials for other things that I use.
