Easy Cherry Cream Cheese Brownies

My wife made these Easy Cherry Cream Cheese Brownies in place of a birthday cake this year.  I can honestly say that I don\’t regret anything about these.  They were probably even better than birthday cake.

Just in case you might be looking for another way to make your brownies. this might be a pretty good option.

Brownie mix of your choice.

2 blocks of cream cheese, softened.

1 can cherry pie filling, or any pie filling your choice.

The frosting is optional. You can make your own, or use store bought.

Mix up you brownies according to the directions. Pour half of the mixture in the baking dish, then spread the cream cheese over the top. (You might need to warm the cream cheese just a tad). Then pour you pie filling over the top, followed by the other half of the brownie mix.  Bake according to directions.

Hit it with some ice cream and a lone cherry!

And Done!

P.S – This was better than regular birthday cake.
