Chocolate Chip Dump Bars
We would always make these chocolate chip dump bars growing up, and we still do. It’s super easy for the kids to help make them, and they taste great with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream. You can change up the choice of nuts, or you can use different flavors of chips. Butterscotch or white chocolate come to mind. 😀

These are the kinds of things we had before Pinterest and the internet. We used actual recipe cards to jot down or type the things that we wanted to make. It was great because we could look at them and knew that the recipe was good, with the yellow tint, creases, and the stains of time. It was great! Life was great! I still like to encourage people to write down your favorite family recipes or put them in a book of some sort. It’s a great thing to pass down to the future generations.
