A New Journey
This little dude joined our family last month, and it really has been a whirlwind of activity. We’re learning to take life one step at a time now, and that seems to have slowed our pace. And we are OK with that! Raising a child that has an extra chromosome has been quit a small experience, and at the time one of the most rewarding. We seem to be navigating the waters rather good at the current time, but we also understand that there will be challenges ahead. We are now opening our hearts, our minds and another place at the table to learn. I’m fairly certain that he will teach us things that we could never have dreamed of understanding, and we will cherish those conversations around the table.
Please join us as we embark this new journey.
It’s important to us as a family to spend as much time in the kitchen no matter how many chromosomes you might have. We will still continue to learn, burn, snack, and create. Stick around and stay awhile, and we can all learn something.
Speaking of food…
Here is the bean dip recipe that we ate repeatedly when we got home from the hospital. 😀
