This wild rice recipe is one of our favorites—wholesome, satisfying, and easy to make. It’s perfect for weeknight dinners, holiday tables, or anytime you need a quick sidedish.
In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the diced onion, diced celery, diced pepper and the minced garlic until translucent. Salt and pepper to taste.
In a greased baking dish pour the rice in the bottom.
Next pour in the cream of mushroom, two cups of water, and the can of undrained mushrooms. Gently stir to mix.
Place uncovered in the oven and cook at 325 degrees for about 45 minutes. About halfway through stir and add a little more water if needed so it's doesn't get too dry.

These are the quantities that we use, and it serves 4 of us with a little left over. You can adjust the recipes to your liking, just ensure you adjust them all, so it doesn't dry out.
