Tangy Pork and Beans

This is an incredibly easy option to dress up your normal pork and beans with a few more simple ingredients.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 20 oz. Can Crush Pineapple
  • 2 15 oz. Can Pork and Beans
  • 1 Packet Onion Soup Mix
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Minced Garlic
  • 2 Tbsp Spicy Brown Mustard
  • 1 Chopped Green Pepper
  • Salt and Pepper to taste. (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Drain the pineapple, reserving the liquid.
  • In a 2-quart saucepan, combine pineapple liquid, soup mix and green pepper.
  • Over medium-high heat, heat to boiling, stirring often.
  • Reduce heat to low, simmer uncovered for 5 minutes, stirring often.
  • Stire in the pineapple, beans, mustard, minced garlic, and Worcestershire sauce. Salt and pepper as desired. Simmer for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
