- 3 potatoes sliced thin peeled or unpeeled.
- 1 pkt Lipton Onion Soup Mix
- 2 oz. cans sliced mushrooms, drained.
- 1 Cup Water
- 2-3 tbsp olive oil.
- Salt and Pepper to taste.
Thinly slice the potatoes and then arrange them in the bottom of a greased 9×13 baking dish.
Next pour over the 2 cans of sliced mushrooms. If you would rather have a creamier sauce, you can switch out 1 can of the mushrooms for a can of cream of mushroom.
In a small bowl mix 1 cup water with 1 packet of the Lipton Onion Soup mix, and set aside.
In a medium skillet over medium heat sear each of the pork chops for a few minutes on either side in a few tablespoons' olive oil.
Once brown and seared on both sides lay each of the pork chops on top of the thinly sliced potatoes.
Then pour over the onion soup mixture followed by the can of Cream of Mushroom, if you choose to use it.
Cover and place in a 400 °F for 30 minutes, and then uncovered for another 30.
