Moscow Mule
This classic drink is a decade long favorite. It has a crisp combination of vodka, lime, and the spicy punch of ginger beer, the Moscow Mule has the perfect balance of flavors.
Equipment
- Copper Moscow Mules mugs These are optional, however, it can be made in any small glass
Ingredients
- 2 oz Vodka
- 3 oz Ginger Beer
- 3 oz Limeade or Lime Juice
- Spring of Mint leaves Option
- 1 shot Tabasco Sauce Optional
- Cubed Ice
- Sliced Lime
Instructions
- Fill one of the copper mugs to the rim with ice.
- Next add all the ingredients and gently stir. Serve with a sprig of mint and lime slice on top.
Notes
The limeade is optionable instead of lime juice, but this is what we use. The first time we made them we only had the frozen Minute Maid Limeade on hand, so that's what we used, and been using ever since. You can use regular lime juice if you wish, but we just keep this in the freezer, and it's frozen whenever we need it.
* There are different ways to layer the ingredients into the glass, however, we don't use a specific order to the layers. We simply add the liquid ingredients, and top with the mint leaves, and a lime slice.
