Ground Beef Casserole

This ground beef casserole comes together really easy and with just a few ingredients. It also comes in handy when the cold weather starts to set in.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Lbs. Ground Beef
  • 1 White Onion diced
  • 8 oz. Crem Cheese
  • 1 Can Cream of Mushroom
  • ½ Cup Milk
  • ¼ Cup Ketchup
  • 1 Small Can Sliced Black Olives Optional
  • 1 Can Biscuits about 8
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. In a medium skillet brown the ground beef with the diced onion, drain, and set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl mix the remaining ingredients (minus the biscuits)
  3. Next fold in the drained ground beef with the remaining ingredients.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly onto a greased 9x13 pan.
  5. Place into a 375 °F oven and bake for about 15 minutes.
  6. Remove and place the biscuits evenly over the top. Brush with melted butter for an extra layer of flavor (optional).
  7. Place back in the over and bake for another 15-20 minutes at 375 °F

Notes

For an extra layer of flavor, you can brush the top of the biscuits with melted butter before you put them back in the oven.
