Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Flour
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • ¼ Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tsp Baking Powder
  • ½ Cup Brown Sugar
  • ½ Cup Chopped nut of your choice.

Equipment

  • 1 Flour Sifter
  • 1 9x9 Can Pan You can use a 9x13, but we prefer a thicker and taller cake, so we opt to use the small cake pan.

Method
 

Sift Together
  1. Flour, Sugar, Salt, Baking Powder
  2. Next add the Fruit cocktail, eggs, and vanilla, and mix well.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased 9x9 baking pan, and sprinkle the top with the brown sugar, and the chopped nuts.
  4. Bake at 350 °F for 40-45 minutes.
